Its capital is Kabul, and it covers about 652,000 square kilometers with a population of around 41 million people. The official languages are Pashto and Dari, and Islam is the main religion. Afghanistan has a mountainous landscape with the Hindu Kush range and fertile valleys, experiencing hot summers and cold winters.
