The Afghanistan Official Traveler Permit Letter is a mandatory document required for entry into each province. Without this permit, travelers will be denied access. Issued by the Tourism Office, it lists all provinces you intend to visit and costs 1,000 Afghani per province. Processing usually takes up to one working day, with offices open from Saturday to Wednesday, half-day on Thursday, and closed on Friday.
